Hello There, We will be coming to WDW on June 30 for 7 nights, We are single moms and I have 2 children and my friend has 1 child. We are staying at the Worldgate Resort and want to know some tips on how we can keep this trip on Budget?

    Hi Jennifer!

I'm so thrilled to hear that y'all are planning a vacation!  Things can add up quickly, so setting a budget and keeping track are great goals.

First of all, if you aren't already, but some money aside each week for your expenses.  You've got about 14 weeks before you vacation, so if you can put $25 away each week you'll have $350 which you can earmark for souvenirs.

If you'll have a car, then I'd suggest that you make a trip to a local store, such as Publix or Super Target, and pick up some items for quick snacks or easy breakfasts to help keep your food cost low.  Breakfast bars, cereal bars, bread and peanut butter all can make quick easy breakfasts you can eat in your room. I'd also suggest picking up a pack of bottled water or other beverages as well, as they can very quickly chip away at your budget.

You'll also find that you'll be able to share meals between a couple of people.  We find the food portions (even at Quick Service locations) are generous and can serve more than one person.

    Have a magical vacation!
