Hi there, We have booked a WOC Dessert Party for Mid-July. Will we be able to see any of the Paint the Night Parade from our seats?

Hello, Alicia! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking your question!

You are going to adore the World of Color Dessert Party! This is the absolute best way to view the show as you get a plate of delicious sweet and savory treats, a beverage, and a seat from which to watch the show. In fact, booking the dessert party is the only way to guarantee a seat for the show as all other viewing sections are standing only.

Depending on the exact show times of World of Color and Paint the Night for your travel dates, you may be able to catch a glimpse of the parade after you are seated for the dessert party. You would have to turn around to face the parade route and your view is likely to be obstructed by people standing and trees, but since the parade floats are pretty tall and, of course, brightly lit up, you will likely see some portions of the parade. For the best viewing, though, I suggest you dedicate a second evening at the park to see the parade. Paint the Night is my absolute favorite parade and you won’t want to miss seeing it in all its glory!

Finally, since you’ll be visiting in July, you will get to experience the newly reimagined Pixar Pier! Be sure to take a ride on the Pixar Pal-A-Round and the Incredicoaster and perhaps stop in to the new Lamplight Lounge for a meal.

I hope you have a fantastic time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
