    Hi there, We booked a placeholder on our cruise in August 2023. Does travel need to be completed by August 2025 or just booked by then? Thank you

    I’m glad to see you’ve taken advantage of the onboard booking offer while you were sailing on your last Disney cruise in August 2023. The placeholder reservation that you booked entitles you to 10% savings off prevailing rates as quoted on the Disney Cruise Line website, as well as a reduced deposit on sailings that are 7-nights or longer. I always book a placeholder reservation before disembarking because it’s just nice to have another vacation to look forward to! 
     
    Brenna, to take advantage of your placeholder reservation, you’ll need to begin your sailing within 24 months. But if you are unable to commence sailing within 24 months of booking your placeholder reservation, the $250 deposit that you paid will be automatically refunded. Once you’ve determined a date for your upcoming cruise, all you need to do is call Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 and have your placeholder reservation information ready. Friendly Cast Members are available Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM Eastern time, and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM Eastern time. Please be aware that there are blockout dates when using this onboard offer.
