Hi There, This is our 2nd trip with dd7 and ds3 and we plan on going 11-12-13 to 11-17-13. Last time we stayed at ASMovies. Do you recommend the new value resort or WL ? I know they are super different so we are having a hard time picking which one:)

    Hi Amanda!

The Wilderness Lodge is my favorite resort in Walt Disney World.  It is a Disney Deluxe Resort located on Bay Lake and it is wonderfully themed.  As a Disney Deluxe Resort, it has a lot of services and amenities and its location gives you easy access to the other Magic Kingdom resorts, especially Fort Wilderness and the Contemporary Resort.

The Art of Animation Resort is a Disney Value Resort and thus doesn't have all of the service and amenities of a Disney Deluxe Resort.  For example, the Wilderness Lodge has two Table Service restaurants, while the Art of Animation Resort just has a food court.  That said, the Art of Animation Resort has fabulous theming both inside and outside.  The Cars theming is especially nice if your children are fans of the animated film "Cars".

It is a hard decision. I think young children would prefer to stay at the Art of Animation Resort while adults would rather stay at the Wilderness Lodge.  Good luck and please write back with more questions!
