There's a winter promo on Aulani Resort for January to April but only applicable to certain rooms (max occupancy of 4). Travelling with 2 adults and 3 kids (ages 4,7,11). Can we share in a room with 1 king bed with a queen sleeper sofa?

Hi there, Shannaz - welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you found us, and I'll be happy to share some information about traveling to Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawaii. Let's dive right in!

Aulani is a really special place, combining Hawaiian culture and art with some magical Disney touches. This Disney Vacation Club property has so much to do that you can honestly stay a week and never leave the resort! Our family visited a few years ago and had a really incredible time - I'm always thinking about when we can return for another stay.

Shannaz, standard hotel rooms at Aulani do have a firm maximum of 4 Guests, so your family of 5 would need to look into different accommodations like a 1-Bedroom Suite or 1-Bedroom Villa that has adequate space. In my experience, Disney is quite strict about these limits as they are related to fire codes and need to be followed to ensure Guests' safety.

I'm sorry this isn't the answer you were hoping for, but I do hope that the stars align for you to travel beyond the reef and visit Aulani this winter. Please feel free to stop by planDisney again anytime if we can help with additional questions about traveling to Aulani or other Disney destinations.

    Stay Magical!
