Hi Renee, welcome to planDisney!
Your party of seven is going to have their best days ever visiting Walt Disney World Resort this summer. The 50th Anniversary Celebration has delivered two new nighttime spectaculars:
Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom park and
Harmonious at EPCOT. The sights and sounds of these shows will leave your heart full and your soul inspired. In fact, I have my Harmonious playlist going right now!
Valid admission, a
theme park reservation for each park day, and a
method of entry are required for each Guest over the age of three. The three methods of entry options are
MagicBand,
Disney MagicMobile pass, or admission card. Let's dig a little deeper into each option.
A MagicBand is a helpful accessory worn like a bracelet that lets you tap in at access points throughout the parks (park entry,
Lighting Lane entrances, etc.) MagicBands can be purchased
online through you'll find the widest selection of styles at retail locations such as
Disney Pin Traders at Disney Springs. MagicBands must be
linked to your My Disney Experience account before use.
Using your
My Disney Experience mobile app, Guests can use the
Disney MagicMobile service to download a MagicMobile pass to the digital wallet of valid iPhones, Apple Watches, and Google Pay enabled Android phones. All Guests with a My Disney Experience account should download their own MagicMobile pass, while one person can download multiple MagicMobile passes if they are managing the My Disney Experience profile of others.
Admission cards are the size of a credit card and can be obtained at ticket and Guest Relations windows located outside the entrance to each theme park. Be prepared to show your ticket confirmation email, the credit card used for purchase, and a photo ID of the credit card holder. Current admission cards feature
Fab 50 character statues, which makes them great souvenEARS.
Everyone in your party does not have to use the same method of entry, Renee. I prefer a MagicBand, my husband prefers a MagicMobile pass, and I carried admission cards for my kids on our last trip. Any method that gets you onto Main Street, U.S.A. is the right choice.
We hope to see you at planDisney again real soon.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
