Hi there, Tom! Welcome back to planDisney. I’m so excited to hear that you’re eagerly waiting for Bluey and Bingo’s arrival to the Happiest Place on Earth beginning on March 22. I’d love to walk you through the wonderful chaos that the Heeler sisters are bringing to the parks faster than Rita and Janet can find a parking spot!
Bluey’s Best Day Ever! is a fun take on a live show at the parks, with interactive elements and games to entertain all ages. Bluey and her sister Bingo appear on stage with a live band that brings elements of the show to life. If you’re lucky, you may find yourself in a game of Keepy Uppy or listening to stories by none other than Unicorse himself! There are two shows a day, each with a pre-show that is sure to have you moving and grooving with the band as Bluey and Bingo appear and dance along with the crowd. There is so much to see in each show, so be sure to visit both so you don’t miss the grannies taking the stage, the cavalcade featuring Bluey’s pals like Indy and Jack, or a Faceytalk session with my personal favorite, Muffin! The fun doesn’t stop with the shows. After each one, there are activities such as floor puzzles, Barky Boat racing, and much more!
Cheese and crackers! As I looked through the information on the
Disney Parks Blog, I didn’t see anything about a character meet and greet with Bluey and Bingo, but there are still plenty of opportunities to capture special moments. The spacious area in front of the stage is a great spot to snap a quick photo or two of your family with Bluey and Bingo in the background. There are also a couple of fun photo opportunities where you can pose in front of the trusty Heeler family SUV, Bobo. You can even pose with the fun fair map alongside Bluey and her classmates from Glasshouse Primary School.
Of course, all this dancing and playing with the Heeler sisters is sure to work up an
appetite. Troubadour Tavern will be the main hub for Bluey-themed treats such as the Pizza Girls Baked Potato, Pavlova Parfait, and Poffertjes! Poffertjes! Plaza Inn is where you can order a tasty Stumpfest Cake. In addition, popcorn carts around Disneyland will offer a fun Bluey bucket for purchase.
