Hi there's My family of 4 is booked at the Polynesian from March 30th to April 5th. I don't know what to do next. The last time we went, I remember the website being more helpful in planning our stay. Is there someone I can call?

    Hello Jennifer!

Welcome to planDisney! Jennifer, you are staying at one of my bucket list Walt Disney World Resort Hotels! Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is such a lovely Resort! I am glad that you came here to planDisney for some help.

I'm sorry you are having trouble finding help to plan your trip. I hope I can give you some direction. Cast Members are a great resource and you can call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations for some guidance. However, you are here with me and I won't let you leave without some basic first steps you should take.

    1. Do you have theme park tickets? You can purchase your tickets directly from Walt Disney World Resort and create a package. You can customize it for how long you need it and for what kind of experience you would like. For example, do you want to visit one park per day or do you want the option to "hop" to multiple Parks in one day? Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is a short Monorail ride to Magic Kingdom Park and an easy trip to EPCOT. It may be something to consider.

    2. Do you want a dining plan? The dining plan can only be added to packages where Guests have a  Resort room reservation and tickets. Dining plans are great for big eaters and those who want their food pre-paid and planned ahead of time. Just remember that gratuity is not included in the plan.

    3. Download the My Disney Experience Mobile App. It's a very important part of a Disney vacation as you can use it to make dining reservations, view your tickets, map your way around the Parks, purchase Lightning Lane Multi and Single Pass, mobile order food and so much more.

    4. Note some dates on your calendar. Sixty days before you arrive you can make dining reservations and book any Enchanting Extras. That date will be January 29, 2025, for you. Since you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort you can book your plans for your entire stay on that day. Dining reservations open up at 6 am so I like to set an alarm and be ready to book. Enchanting Extras could be things like a royal makeover at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique or building a custom droid at Black Spire Outpost's industrial depot. Now, most Enchanting Extras open up at 6 am but I have had success getting a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at midnight the morning of my reservation day. Lightning Lane Passes can be purchased 7 days before you arrive from the My Disney Experience Mobile App. This is a way you help reduce your wait time by joining a faster queue. The cost varies per day and park and is optional.

I love taking photos in the Parks with the Disney PhotoPass photographers as it's the only time I'm included in the photos! Memory Maker is a great way to secure your memories in digital form. Buy it ahead of time for a discount!

I hope this was helpful and if you have more questions we are always here for you!

    Happy Planning!
