Hi Alejandra!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.
I'm happy to hear you're planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. You'll be making memories soon at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
I'm sorry you're not able to make a Disney Park Pass reservation for
Magic Kingdom Park on the date you've selected, but I'm happy to know that
Epcot has availability! I'm not sure of your travel dates, but make sure to keep an eye on the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar, as it is always subject to change.
Like you mentioned, Guests have the opportunity to add the
Park Hopper Option to their theme park tickets, which allows them to "hop" to more than one theme park on the same day. You can upgrade your ticket to a Park Hopper through the
My Disney Experience mobile app, or at any
Guest Relations location once you've arrived in Walt Disney World.
During Walt Disney World Resort's
phased reopening, there are a few guidelines in place for using the Park Hopper Option.
1) Guests will need to have a
Disney Park Pass reservation to enter the first park they'd like to visit.
2) The Guest
must physically enter the first, reserved park by scanning a
MagicBand,
Theme Park Ticket, or using
Disney's MagicMobile service at the point of entry, before hopping to a second (or third, or fourth!) theme park after 2pm.
3) The ability to "hop" to another park is subject to that park's capacity limitations.
The good news is, while there is no guarantee, I've been to Walt Disney World numerous times since Park Hopping was reintroduced, and have had no issues with park capacity limitations affecting us being able to visit other parks.
I hope this helps with your planning! Please come back and visit us here at planDisney if you have more questions before you visit Walt Disney World Resort.
