Hi, Martin! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
The Epcot International Festival of the Holidays - Candlelight Processional is one of my favorite
holiday activities at the
Walt Disney World Resort. A celebrity narrator tells the story of the first Christmas, while accompanied by a choir and 50-piece orchestra. This beautifully moving show is certain to put you in the Christmas spirit.
My son has autism, so we utilize
Disability Access Service (DAS) when we visit the Walt Disney World Resort. You will find that shows at the Walt Disney World Resort have reserved seating sections for
guests with disabilities. While these accessible seating sections are primarily used to accommodate guests with
mobility needs, in my experience, there are some instances where Cast Members will permit guests using Disability Access Service to also be seated in these reserved areas. I would recommend discussing your particular needs with a Cast Member at
Guest Relations when you set up your Disability Access Service account.
Another option that you may wish to explore is a
Candlelight Processional Dining Package. Your purchase of a Candlelight Processional Dining Package includes a delicious meal and access to a reserved seating section for a performance of the Candlelight Processional. This is a great alternative to waiting in the show's standby line.
As you prepare for your trip, be sure to check out these Disney Parks Moms Panel
tips for making the most of the holidays at the Walt Disney World Resort. Wishing you a happy holiday season and a magical vacation!
