Hi there, Planning ahead for MVMCP Dec'15. I've read fastpass+ is not available during MVMCP. How far ahead of time should we line up to meet the Princesses & Princes @ Fairytale Hall? First time, so I'm not sure what to expect in terms of crowds...

Hello Julie. I am also dreaming of a Walt Disney World holiday vacation this year. There is nothing better than walking down Main Street U.S.A. with lightly falling snow and the beautiful Cinderella Castle Dream Lights sparkling in the night. One of the reasons that I love going at this time of the year is because it is much cooler than the extreme heat of summer. Make sure to pack a jacket as it can get pretty chilly in the mornings and evenings in central Florida.

You are correct that Disney's FastPass+ service is not available during the hard ticketed events like Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Last December during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party I went with several other fellow Moms Panelists to Princess Fairytale Hall. Of course, wait times are dependent on the crowd level, so I can't predict how long your wait will be this year, however, I can tell you that we waited for about 25 minutes last year to meet the Princesses. In fact, I specifically remember not having a long wait at any of the attractions. It was a bit cold so we practically walked on to Splash Mountain. I also remember being able to ride Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Peter Pan's Flight with under 20 minutes of wait time. While this was our experience, I cannot promise that it will be the same situation when you attend, so plan ahead and allow yourself plenty of time to make it through all of your plans.

Be sure to wave at Santa Claus as he passes by during the Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade. We usually watch from Frontierland because it is less crowded and after it is over we can hit up the 'Mountains' one more time before moving on to Liberty Square.

Grab a cup of hot cocoa and enjoy the sights and sounds of the holidays! If you need anything else please let us know.

Have a fun and festive Walt Disney World holiday vacation.
