Hi Abigail! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Warning - if we talk about snacks and menus 9 months ahead of your trip, you will be counting Mickey Bars instead of sheep to sleep in no time.
When you're gazing at menus in person at Walt Disney World Resort you'll be able to quickly tell what is counted as a snack item as it will have a purple and white checkered box next to the price on the menu board. Sadly there is no master list of each item that qualifies as a snack credit as menus change seasonally and new menu items are introduced weekly. When looking online to get a good idea of what your options are, search for all "
Counter Service" options under the "Dining Experience" dropdown. While not denoted as a
snack credit online, most items that count are generally under $6.50 and are mostly found at Quick-Service restaurants, food kiosks like what you can find at the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, snack carts such as popcorn carts, and are grab and go items like bottled water at shops.
You'll definitely want to email
Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com to plan ahead for your options and alternatives with your
special dietary requests. They should be able to help you locate snacks, and even help with menus for your other meals.
Thank you for reaching out to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Abigail! I hope this helped, and please don't hesitate to reach back out if you have any more questions between now and October.
