Hello Sara Louise and thanks for bringing such an important question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I always adore helping fellow Brits with their jolly holiday plans to visit Walt Disney World Resort, but to have the honour of assisting with what's sure to be a magical Disney honeymoon is pure delight!
As a rather Pooh-sized lady myself I totally respect and value your honest question, therefore on your behalf and so I could provide the best possible answer I just spoke with the Manager at
Senses - A Disney Spa at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort who was super helpful and of course very knowledgeable of all the Spa facilities right across Disney property.
Interesting his 1st piece of advice for you was to be sure at the point of booking to let the Cast Member assisting know you are on honeymoon!
I'm thrilled to share my other findings: Each Disney Spa uses treatment tables which can accommodate Guests up to 25 stone in weight (or 350lbs/158k)
Each Disney Spa provides robes in sizes up to 5X which approximately fits up to a 60inch chest. If preferable Guests are always welcome provide their own robes.
Each Disney Spa benefits from extra wide doorways which can accommodate wheelchair users.
I also discovered that Guests indulging in a
Spa for Two Package can also make use of the whirlpool, steam & sauna rooms and the heated recliners in the relaxation room; towels are provided but be sure to pack your bathing suits!
For your added information I thought you may also enjoy my dear
Moms Panelist Pricilla's previous helpful plus sized answer.
Wishing you both a magical honeymoon at Walt Disney World Resort.
