Hiya Michael!
Thanks for dropping by planDisney with your question! I’m sorry to hear about your husband’s injury. I wish him a speedy recovery. Once he’s healed, I hope you can celebrate with a trip to the Disneyland Resort! In the meantime, I’d be delighted to answer your questions!
First, if you purchased the tickets and made reservations for your entire party, you may cancel three of the reservations associated with your group without canceling the entire party. To do this, please log in to your Disneyland Account select "My Disneyland" then click "Ticket and Reservation Details" and select "Cancel Reservation" next to the date you wish to cancel. While it may appear as if you are canceling the reservations for everyone in your party, in the next step you will be given the opportunity to select the specific people you are canceling the reservation for. You will then be able to book a new theme park reservation at a later date.
Unused single-day tickets and wholly unused multi-day tickets are valid for a future visit through the end of the stated expiration date. This date can usually be found on the back of your tickets. But, there’s no need to worry if you are unable to use the tickets before the printed expiration date. According to
eTicket Terms & Conditions, unless otherwise stated, the amount paid for any wholly unused, expired Disneyland Resort theme park ticket (with the exception of Special Event Tickets) may be applied towards the purchase of a new theme park admission ticket at the current price. When you’re ready to visit the Disneyland Resort, simply go to a Main Entrance ticket booth to apply your eligible ticket amount towards a new ticket purchase. If you have any additional questions about this, please contact Tickets Services at (714) 781-4636.
Rather than ordering an additional ticket, you are welcome to assign the ticket to a new person to use. And, you do not have to change the name on an existing unused ticket in order for another person to use it. Once your party arrives at the turnstiles of the Disneyland Resort Theme Parks, a Cast Member will take a picture of each person and link it to their ticket. From then on, the ticket will be associated with the person in the picture, not the name on the ticket.
Multi-day Disneyland Resort Theme Park Tickets must be used by the same person each day. After the first use, a ticket may not be reassigned to a new person.
If you already purchased a ticket separately, you can still add it to your established group. To make sure the new ticket is included in your group, visit the “Tickets and Passes” section of the
Disneyland Mobile App and tap the ‘+’ symbol in the upper-right hand corner. Use the “Link Tickets & Passes” button to add the ticket that is not already showing.
I hope this is the information you're looking for. If not, please head back to planDisney for more answers!
