Hello there, My family and I are planning to visit for 8 days on October 9-18th, do you think this is a good time to visit Disney as far as weather and the crowds? Thank you

Our family has been in October and LOVED it because of the moderate crowds and pleasant weather!  We wore shorts during the day and light jackets at night!

But since you mentioned crowds.....The kink to your dates are that they fall over the Columbus Day Weekend this year, and any holiday weekend will increase the crowd levels at Disney.  To add to the crowds, many schools now have fall breaks and tend to build the breaks around Columbus Day.  Don't get me wrong, the crowds are no where near those during spring break or summer, but the crowds are average to above average.

In my opinion the last two weeks of October would be better to consider for crowds and weather!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
