HI there, My family and I are going for our first trip to WDW during spring break. We are going for 5 days, debating on 6. I have twins who are 6 and my oldest is 9. I am wondering if 5 days is going to be just way too much for them?

  • Hello, Laura!

The Walt Disney World Resort is an excellent choice for your family's Spring Break vacation! From my experience, five days is a great amount of time to spend on a first Walt Disney World vacation. You will have the opportunity to visit all four theme parks or spend some time really exploring your favorite(s). My family and I like to spend two days at Magic Kingdom Park and one day at each of the other theme parks on our five-day visits.

It can be especially helpful to plan FastPass+ attractions and dining options in advance. This will allow you to schedule in some down time with your family, and make sure everyone gets to take a break.

Mom Tip: Take some time to enjoy the amenities at your Disney Resort hotel in the afternoon. Your family will appreciate the opportunity to take a nap or go for a swim to cool off from the Florida heat. You'll still have plenty of time to enjoy the magic of the Disney theme parks in the evening.

I hope you and your family have a magical Walt Disney World vacation, Laura! Please don't hesitate to stop back by the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any more questions. We would love to hEAR from you!
