Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Erica. Thanks for stopping by with your questions about PhotoPass service at the Disneyland Resort. There are similarities and differences between the PhotoPass services at the Disneyland Resort and the Walt Disney World Resort.
Memory Maker at Walt Disney World Resort allows Guests to pre-purchase prior to arrival at the parks for a discount. Guests receive unlimited digital downloads from their entire trip, including attraction photos and videos, Magic Shots, and dining photos at select restaurants.
At the Disneyland Resort, Guests can purchase individual digital downloads or physical prints, or they can purchase
PhotoPass+-One Day (not available for pre-purchase). With this, Guests have access to one day’s worth of digital photos they can download. PhotoPass photographers are stationed throughout both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park to capture special moments. Simply ask for a PhotoPass card during your first encounter with a PhotoPass photographer and use the same card to scan subsequent photos. You can also add attraction photos by jotting down the unique photo ID and adding that to your PhotoPass.
While the Memory Maker offers photos from the entire trip, the PhotoPass+-One Day has all the photos from one day only. Thus, if you spend 3 days at the parks and wish to have all the photos, you will need to purchase three PhotoPass+-One Day.
I hope this information is helpful for you. If you have further questions, please visit us on the Panel again. I wish you and your family a safe flight from New Zealand and a magical time at the Happiest Place on Earth.
Sending you Pixie Dust,
Kiki
