Hi there! Last minute trip on June 19 - 22 with my 4 year old daughter. We have only booked flight and am a bit overwhelmed with all of the options. I'd love suggestions on where to stay and which parks to go to would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Mia! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

My favorite resort to stay at is Disney’s Pop Century Resort.  I love that it is a value resort and is affordable for my family.  In my opinion it has one of the best themes out of all of the resorts. It will transport you back to your childhood. This is always fun when I get to point out to my kids a toy that I played with as a child or a memory that sneaks up on me! We love splashing in the Hippy Dippy Pool, and they have a really great splash area just for kids. The food court in my experience has a lot of food choices and my son who is a picky eater always is able to find something that he likes.

We spend the majority of our time at Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot.  Magic Kingdom Park in my opinion is the most kid friendly park.  We love meeting the characters and watching the Wishes Nighttime Spectacular. I love that there are so many rides that my kids and I can enjoy together such as Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid, and the Prince Charming Regal Carousel. In Epcot we love to visit the Seas with Nemo and Friends and spend a lot of time checking out the saltwater aquarium and all of the real live sea creatures living there.  We also love walking World Showcase, sampling food, and stopping at the Kidcot Fun Stops.

Make sure to check out the Planning for Pre-School Kids and Little One’s resource. There are some really helpful tips here.

Lastly don’t get overwhelmed with all there is to do.  Just take the time to be silly with your daughter, hold her hand, skip down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A. and just enjoy each other.

I hope you have a magical time!
