Hi there, Just wondering if you think we will get into Magic Kingdom at around 5pm on July 3rd or do you think it will likely be at capacity? Thank you kindly.

Hello there Renee, welcome to planDisney!  How exciting that you're planning a trip to the "Most Magical Place on Earth!"

Magic Kingdom Park is usually our first stop during our trip, there is nothing like stepping onto Main Street, U.S.A. and seeing Cinderella Castle for the first time in forever!  It is rare, but I have seen Magic Kingdom Park close due to it reaching its capacity for Guests.  We received a notification in the My Disney Experience app that it was temporarily not allowing more Guests into the park at the time, but it was just temporary.

My best advice is to allow for flexibility during your visit!  If you're able to visit Magic Kingdom Park first thing in the morning, I highly recommend that so you know you'll be able to visit and maximize your time when crowds are typically lower in the morning.  If for some reason Magic Kingdom Park does temporarily close on the day you're looking to visit, hopefully you can rearrange your plans and visit the following day on your trip.  There usually is something unpredictable that will happen during any vacation, so allowing for patience and flexibility will truly go a long way!  Hopefully a little pivot in your plans still allows everyone to enjoy this magical trip.

I hope this information is helpful for your upcoming trip. Renee!  We're happy to help with any other questions you may have, so don't hesitate to come back and ask.

    Have a magical day!
