Hi there, Is it possible to buy a ticket only for the Halloween party? I believe I read this was true but I thought I would have to purchase a full day ticket too? Also, which rides are available to me if I only have the Halloween ticket? Thank you so much

Boo to you, Amanda, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I have spook-tacular news for you – yes, you may purchase a ticket just for Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party, without purchasing a regular 1-Day Ticket. Your special event ticket to Oogie Boogie Bash allows you to enter Disney California Adventure Park up to four hours before the party begins, depending on your party date. Park mix-in begins at 2:00 PM on Sundays, as well as October 29 and 31, 2019, and begins at 3:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Then, once the park closes to regular-admission Guests, you’ll be treated to five hours of mischievous mayhem!

We don’t have a list of exactly which attractions will remain open for Oogie Boogie Bash just yet, but at special events I’ve attended in the past, many popular attractions have still been available throughout the event. Disney PhotoPass is also included in your ticket, which is a great benefit, especially since it’s Halloween Time! What's the fun of dressing up without pictures?! PhotoPass is a great way to preserve magical memories by keeping every family member in the picture.

If you’re thinking about attending Oogie Boogie Bash, I recommend grabbing tickets soon, before they disappear into the night like the Headless Horseman! Currently, September is sold out, but these dates are still available: October 1, 6, 15, 20, 22, 27, and 29. If the date you’re hoping for is sold out online, I recommend calling Disneyland Resort Tickets at (714) 781-4636 to double-check. Sometimes, a limited number of special event tickets will be held for phone orders.

Wishing you many happy haunts at the Disneyland Resort this Halloween!
