While getting an autograph on your tablet may sound like a wonderful idea, you might get a response like, “Oh my, I can't sign your magic mirror." Unfortunately, characters are not able to sign directly on tablets, phones, or any electronic devices, even with a stylus. But don’t worry! There are plenty of creative ways to capture those magical memories with character autographs.
Bring a classic Disney autograph book, but add a personal touch by printing out small photos of you and the characters to place next to their signatures later. After meeting each character, take a quick photo with your tablet, then let them sign your book. When you get home, you can print the photos and place them next to the autographs for a wonderful keepsake! I have several autograph books like this from when my girls were little – they are such sweet memories.
Another fun idea is to bring a white photo mat that fits a picture frame. Have each character sign the mat with a colorful marker. After your trip, you can place a favorite photo from your Disney vacation in the frame, surrounded by the signatures of all the characters you met. It makes for a magical piece of wall art!
Why not bring along a plain pillowcase or t-shirt and fabric markers? Characters can sign the fabric, and you’ll have a unique, personalized souvenir that’s both practical and fun. Every time you see or use it, you’ll be reminded of the magical moments from your trip! Just remember – the characters can’t sign anything that you’re wearing at the time.
