HI there, if we were to go to watch Fantasmic at Disneyland and wanted a reserved location, could we get one if we went to a restaurant earlier like 4 and then come back for the show.

Oh boy, Linda! You've come to the right place to discuss Fantasmic! Dining Packages at Disneyland! This is one of my very favorite topics to chat about. As someone who never misses a chance to see Mickey Mouse battle evil on the Rivers of America when I'm at Disneyland Park, it's nice to know I have a special viewing spot waiting for me - and, yes, with a Fantasmic! Dining Package you definitely can dine earlier in the day and then return to a reserved spot for the show later. But let's chat about all the Fantasmic! Dining Package options, so you can pick the one that's the best fit for you!

Currently the only Fantasmic! Premium Dining Package option offered in Disneyland is at River Belle Terrace. With a Premium Dining Package at River Belle Terrace, you'll enjoy a delicious 3-course meal with prime viewing of the first Fantasmic! show right from your seat on the terrace. This is the only Fantasmic! Dining Package option where you will view the performance from the actual dining location.

Now, Linda, let's chat about the three fantastic Fantasmic! Standard Dining Package options at Cafe Orleans, River Belle Terrace and Rancho del Zocalo. All three of these standard packages will include dining at the dining location, then returning later to view Fantasmic! from a designated area for either the first or second show. You may request which show when you make your dining reservation.

Beginning May 23, 2025, Cafe Orleans now offers a Standard Dining Package with dining reservation times available all throughout the day, starting at 11am for lunch and 4pm for dinner, subject to availability. The Monte Cristo Sandwich at Cafe Orleans is famous and our family's go-to entree! Check out the Fantasmic! Dining Package menus on the Disneyland website to see what looks good to you. (Menus are subject to change.)

River Belle Terrace also offers a Standard Dining Package, where you can enjoy a tasty 3-course meal. Reservation times are available all throughout the day, starting at 10am for brunch and 2pm for dinner, subject to availability.

And last, but certainly not least, is the Standard Dining Package available at Rancho del Zocalo - which, in my opinion, is your best value for the Fantasmic! Dining Package, as your designated spot is in roughly the same area as it would be if you booked a dining package at Cafe Orleans or River Belle Terrace (standard). Reservation times begin at 11am for lunch and 3:30pm for dinner, subject to availability. I actually have the Rancho del Zocalo Fantasmic! Dining Package booked for myself on my upcoming visit!

After your dining experience, you will receive a voucher to return to your designated viewing area along the Rivers of America later that night. Be aware, Linda, that the Fantasmic! Dining Package viewing areas are seating only. I recommend bringing a small travel blanket, so you have a nice, cozy spot to enjoy the performance. (Tip: If you attend the first showing of Fantasmic!, stay right where you are after the conclusion of the show to enjoy Wondrous Journeys from your Fantasmic! viewing spot, including projections across Rivers of America!)

I hope this information has been helpful to you, Linda! I trust you'll be dreaming a fantastic dream in no time. If any other planning questions happen to come up, though, as you prepare for your upcoming visit, you know where to find us!

    Your pal,

Hello from the Pacific Northwest! I'm McCayla, a wife and mom dreaming of adventure in the great wide somewhere, yet also completely content watching Toy Story from the couch. My love of Disneyland began as a little girl on Peter Pan's Flight and only grows with each visit. But even when I'm not physically at the Happiest Place on Earth, I truly feel that same joy when I can help others (YOU!) experience the magic of Disneyland Resort too.
