Hello Valerie and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I'm so excited to know you already have a magical visit to Walt Disney World Resort planned in your near future, I'm sure it's going to be practically perfect in every way!
The
Liberty Tree Tavern is a wonderful family-style dining spot set within the old time charm of
Liberty Square in the
Magic Kingdom Park and does indeed require
Theme Park Ticket to gain entry. However I do have some other great dining suggestions for you that don't require entering a Disney Theme Park and the use of a Disney Theme Park Ticket and would be perfect for late afternoon dining; the
Trail's End Restaurant at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is amongst my families most favourite dining spots and provides diners with a bounteous all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet at breakfast, brunch and dinner time. Plus there's also the
Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort; this restaurant is always full of rootin' tootin' fun for all ages and serves up delicious and bottomless family-style platters at breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Wishing you an extra magical upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort.
~ Jane
