Hello Amanda!
You are visiting during a really fun time! There
may be a chance you'll be able to see both the decorations for Halloween and Christmas on during your magical trip.
Dates are always subject to change from year-to-year and this year's dates haven't been announced yet, but typically, the last
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party takes place on November 1st, with
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party beginning later that week. This means Magic Kingdom Park may be transforming from a (not so) haunted Halloween to a Holiday wonderland during your vacation.
The main Christmas tree in Magic Kingdom Park does not go up until closer to Christmas, usually after the taping of the Disney Parks Christmas Parade. The resorts and other parks may begin gradually decorating as well. There's no real set schedule and it will depend on a variety of factors.
Definitely stay tuned to the
Special Events website for more information on dates for both the Halloween and Christmas parties. Also, be sure to check out the
Disney Parks Blog for updates on all of the holiday happenings at Disney Parks!
Have a magical day!
Ashley
