Hi there I am trying to book either Saratoga or riviera for October next year but it’s coming up with no availability - how can this be when it’s 13 months away? Is there any way I can book these resorts? Thanks so much Michelle

Hello Michelle, and welcome to planDisney!

Great picks! Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa and Disney’s Riviera Resort are both beautiful! Because they’re Disney Vacation Club properties and October is a fan-favorite month (hello,   Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!), they can book up quickly for next year.

Here’s a happy plan: book a different resort now to lock in your magical getaway, then peek back from time to time to see if your favorites open up. Plans change, and reservations do pop up!

If you’re eyeing Deluxe Resorts, consider Disney’s Yacht Club Resort or Disney’s Beach Club Resort. They’re a quick stroll to the International Gateway entrance of EPCOT, close to Disney Skyliner access, and they share the incredible Stormalong Bay, which is often called a mini water park thanks to its sand-bottom pool and lazy-river vibes.

If you’d like an extra sprinkle of help, the Disney vacation planning experts can review current availability and options with you by phone.

    See ya real soon!
