Hi, Shannon!
You are so lucky to have a kiddo who is a more adventurous eater. Both of my children have always been picky eaters, and that can be tough, especially when we are traveling. However, one of the things we love about the Walt Disney World Resort is that with the wide variety of
restaurants and dining locations, there is always something to appeal to everyone's tastes.
With its exceptional value and convenience, the
Disney Dining Plan is a great option for so many families vacationing at the Walt Disney World Resort. When utilizing the Disney Dining Plan, guests ages 3-9 must order from a children's menu, where available. The good news is that most children's menus at Walt Disney World dining locations have a nice mix of traditional "kid foods" as well as healthier options and selections that might appeal to little Mouseketeers with more grown-up tastes.
Menus for most Walt Disney World Resort restaurants can be found on the website and on your
My Disney Experience mobile app. I would recommend that you and your daughter take a look at some of those menus to determine which dining locations you are interested in prior to your trip. Buffet meals, like Tusker House Restaurant, are often a great option for families whose children are more sophisticated eaters, allowing them to sample a wide variety of foods.
Keep in mind that reservations are highly recommended for table-service restaurants. You can begin making dining reservations 180 days prior to your arrival, but it is also possible to snag a great reservation closer to your visit, as in your situation.
See ya real soon!
Samantha
