Happy 40th birthday and happy Halloween, Leslie! The end of April will be “halfway to Halloween!” That is usually a great time for Mickey to announce his plans for the spookiest season at the Walt Disney World Resort! I’m hoping we hear some news later this month!
Last year, tickets went on sale for
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on two dates: April 27, 2023 for Guests with existing reservations and May 1, 2023 for all other Guests. It sounds like you’ve already got your dates booked, so now we just wait for that big announcement to come!
The first party of the year usually falls in mid-August, with the final party taking place on Halloween night (and, sometimes, November 1). My favorite party tip to share with Guests is that ticketholders can enter Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4:00 PM even though the party doesn’t begin until 7:00 PM. I always encourage Guests to take advantage of those “bonus” hours!
Leslie, I also spent my 40th birthday at the Walt Disney World Resort! There was about 20 of us! We had such a great time! My immediate family celebrated with dinner at Be Our Guest Restaurant (my favorite)! Of course, my family made sure I wore a birthday button during our entire visit! The buttons are complimentary and can be picked up at your Walt Disney World Resort hotel or at any of the Disney Parks in the
Guest Relations Office.
Keep an eye on the Walt Disney World Resort website and the
Disney Parks Blog! These will be two key sources of reliable information for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! Of course, you can always come back to planDisney!
Dreams do come true!
