Hello Christopher,
Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with such a great question for us to help you with. As the current
UK Panelist here at planDisney, I'm always extra delighted when I have the pixie-dusted opportunity of assisting another Guest from the United Kingdom who also likes to visit the magic of Walt Disney World Resort from across the pond!
The simple answer to your enquiry is yes, the
Disability Access Service (DAS) can be used in addition to the new Disney Genie+ and Lightning Lane service.
My top planDisney suggestion for you would be to go ahead and fully maximise the assistance of
Disney Genie within your
My Disney Experience Mobile App to help you create your best Disney day - EVER! Disney Genie can truly help Guests by using its inbuilt tools to unlock the most incredible touring schedule because it can predict Attraction wait times, crowd levels, dining reservation availability, and even the weather! And best of all, if your plans change, then Disney Genie accommodates those new plans too.
Christopher, it might also be useful for you to know that in addition to registering in person, Guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort from November 1st, 2021 are able to
pre-register for the Disability Access Service (DAS). Pre-registration for the Disability Access Service (DAS) takes place virtually, via a video chat with a Cast Member and can be done up to 30-days ahead of arrival, but not less than 2-days before arrival.
I hope that I've been able to provide you with a little insight into your jolly holiday plans to spend time at Walt Disney World Resort during May of 2022. Christopher, if you should have any further questions for me, then please don't hesitate to pop back any time to planDisney.
Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
