Hiya, Matt!
Welcome to planDisney! We're so glad that you found us hEAR! I'm Kristen, and I'm very happy to be your planEAR today!
Oh boy! It sounds like you're planning a very jolly holiday to The Happiest Place on Earth with your Boo Crew!
Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort is full of frightful delights and gourd fun. Be sure to keep up with the Disney Parks Blog as they like to share the what-not-to-miss, Disneyland Must-Do's, and most importantly,
the must-eats, during this spooky season!
I sadly don't have the proper magic mirror to see inside your
My Disneyland Account so I'm unable to see your planned park days, Matt. However, if your group has separate event tickets to the now sold-out
Oogie Boogie Bash in Disney California Adventure Park, your best bet would be the
Parade Dining Package through Wine Country Trattoria.
That's the only
parade scheduled in either theme park during the time of your visit. However, there have been many pop-up Princess promenades, single floats with several singing friends, and mini marching band ... marches (I couldn't think of another word for march) that kind of take the place of the big, daily spectacle that would sometimes cause Guests to claim a piece of curb up to an hour before the show. (It's me, I'm that Guest.) While the point of these magical moments is that they don't cause a Disney day to be overly planned, the only sit-down dining location that accepts reservations along the performing route is
Carnation Cafe on Main Street U.S.A. If you do decide to dine hEAR, ask for a table on the patio at check-in, then keep your ears open and your camera ready as you'll often hEAR a bit of music announcing the grand arrival of a famous Disney pal before they pass by.
I know it's disappointing to hEAR that there aren't any parades happening right now, but two alternative dining options I suggest are either a
Character Meal where you're guaranteed to spend some time with a few familiar favorites, or, look into the
Plaza Inn Halloween Dining Package where your meal will come with entry to a specific Fireworks Viewing Area. (If this were me, I'd book a late Brunch reservation at
Storytellers Cafe; the characters will still make the rounds as long as you're in the restaurant and you can get Mickey waffles for lunch. Win-win!)
I hope that this helped to better plan your upcoming Disney days, Matt! Again I'm so sorry it's not the news you were sEARching for, but I like that you can now make other dining plans. Be sure to follow the
official planDisney Panel Instagram account where we're sharing all kinds of tips and tricks. And if you have any more
Disneyland Resort vacation planning questions, We're All Ears!
