Hi there, Simon. Thanks for taking the time to stop by planDisney with your question for us. We’re happy you’re here – Welcome!
I’m glad to hear you’re planning a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth in mid-June! Now that both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park have reopened their gates after a long, unexpected closure, I’m guessing you and your travel party are excited to
return to a land of Magic!
When
dining reservations opened for booking on April 22, 2021, many Guests waited in virtual queues to snag a spot at one of the four table service locations currently opened since April 30, 2021; the four restaurants are River Belle Terrace, Café Orleans, Carthay Circle Lounge – Alfresco dining, and Lamplight Lounge. Due to high demand and limited capacity, the dining reservations were booked up very quickly. However, if you would like to dine at one of those restaurants, some restaurants may be able to accommodate walk-ins if there is availability. Alternatively, since Guests do cancel or change their plans, dining reservations could potentially open up so I suggest checking the
Disneyland Resort dining reservation site periodically.
Recently,
Disney Parks Blog announced more table service restaurants are opening up at the end of May. Blue Bayou Restaurant, Napa Rose, Storytellers Café will be serving Guests soon. Be sure to save the date for May 18, 2021 when dining reservations start for these restaurants!
Prior to your visit, be sure you have downloaded the latest version of
Disneyland mobile app. It’s a handy-dandy tool to help you check attraction wait times, view restaurant menus, make food and beverage mobile orders and use it as a form of contactless payment.
If you have additional questions as you continue to plan your upcoming trip, Simon, please don’t hesitate to visit us on
planDisney again. We’re all EARS!
See ya real soon,
Kiki
