Hello Kimberly!
Thanks for the planDisney love! I love exploring the Walt Disney World Resorts during my Walt Disney World vacations, and I especially love using the
Walt Disney World Transportation System to get to each Resort!
You have a few options if you desire to explore the Walt Disney World Resorts during your vacation. The first option is to drive your vehicle to each Resort and park there while touring the Resort. You will have to tell the Security Cast Member at each Resort entrance (the main gate) that you wish to explore that Resort. Typically the Security Cast Member will ask to see your ID, such as a driver's license and then let you in. You can do this without staying at that particular Resort or having Advanced Dining Reservations at that particular Resort. A second option would be to park at a theme park such as Magic Kingdom Park (the parking lot at the Ticket and Transportation Center). As long as you pay for theme park parking and keep your receipt, you can park at any other Walt Disney World theme park on the same day without paying the parking fee again. I recommend parking at the Ticket and Transportation Center (the Magic Kingdom Park parking lot) and then taking the Resort Monorail to visit the three Monorail Resorts (Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and Disney's Contemporary Resort). If you park your vehicle at Disney's Hollywood Studios, you can take the
Disney Skyliner to many Resorts, including Disney's Riviera Resort, Disney's Art of Animation Resort, Disney's Pop Century Resort, and Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort.
I hope that your upcoming Walt Disney World is incredible!
