    Hi there! A friend going to WDW in April asked me if I knew whether or not you can cash personal checks at resorts rather than use ATMs and pay a fee - she said she's done this at other hotels with no problem - I could only find references to travelers ch

    Hi Heidi and welcome to the Moms Panel! 

    I did a bit of research for this one and found out Disney Resorts only cash personal checks for guests that are SunTrust Bank customers.  There are other options available to get cash such as ATM's, Traveler's Checks Cashing, Wire Transfers, and Cash Advances.  You can find all the banking related information and details under the Banking Services page of the Walt Disney World website.  This page also includes the address and hours of operation of the closest SunTrust Bank location.
