The themed pool at my resort is undergoing renovation. While we can use the non-themed pools there; are we allowed to use the themed pool at other resorts during our stay?

Welcome to planDisney, Kathleen! I'm so glad I get to answer a question for a fellow Texan today. Poolside magic is one of the best parts of a Disney vacation, and I'm happy to let you know exactly where you'll be able to swim during your upcoming trip.

While you're welcome to use any of the pools at your own resort, including any quiet or leisure pools, pool hopping to other Disney Resort Hotels isn't permitted, even when your main pool is under renovation. That said, the quiet pools are really lovely! They're often more peaceful and relaxing than the main themed pool areas, and they still offer that special Disney charm.

If you're looking for some extra water fun, you might consider adding a visit to a Disney Water Park, like Typhoon Lagoon, which will be open during your trip. It's full of wave pools, slides, and splash zones that the whole family can enjoy, and it definitely kicks the pool experience up a notch. Since you're staying at a Disney Resort, you'll be able to take advantage of the amazing perk for the 2025 season: free water park admission on your check-in day! It's a great way to beat the heat and relax after a day of travel.

I hope this answers your question, Kathleen, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
