What are the themed nights on the Disney Wonder 4-night Baja Very Merrytime cruise? Pirate? Formal? Where can we find this information? We want to be prepared.

Ahoy there, Court! Thanks for sailing our way here at planDisney with your question about your upcoming Verry Merrytime cruise on your 4-Night Baja itinerary on the Disney Wonder! Wow, you basically hit all my favorite things when it comes to a Disney Cruise Line vacation: my favorite ship, some of my favorite Ports of Call, and one of my favorite special seasonal itineraries...are you sure you're not planning this using my notes already? Haha!

With everything there is to do on a Disney Cruise Line vacation and only four nights to do it in, I think your desire to be prepared is a great attitude to have! It's a great way to be sure you're not missing out on anything - or wasting precious packing space on a themed outfit you won't have a chance to wear.

I have great news for you, Court: generally speaking, on 4-Night itineraries you can count on a Pirate Night, two cruise casual nights, and an optional "dress-up night!" Now, it's important to remember one of my favorite parts of Disney Cruise Line: that the dress code is, as Captain Barbossa might say, "more what you'd call guidelines than actual rules."

I like to think of it like this: as long as you're meeting the bar of "Cruise Casual" while planning your dining attire, the rest is completely up to you! So for instance, while there's not a true formal night on your cruise, if you and your crew feel like getting dressed to the nines on ANY night, that's totally your choice! Me? I'm usually a "Cruise Casual All Day, Everyday" kind of guy, with a few special occasions like our anniversary or major milestone birthdays to bump the classiness up a bit.

You should note that this is all subject to change at any moment, so I'd definitely suggest downloading the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app if you haven't already done so! As soon as you board, you'll be able to check the schedule for the entire itinerary in the palm of your hand! That way you and your crew can determine exactly which nights of your itinerary are which and can plan your costume changes accordingly!

Hopefully, that shines a bit of light on the mystery of your themed nights, Court! Thank you so much for sailing my way with this question, and if you run into any others as your sailing gets closer, please come back and see us here at planDisney!

Fair winds, following seas, and happy packing!
