Hi, Kimberlee!
Thanks for sailing our way to planDisney with your question. I'd be happy to share more about what you can expect during a 4-night Bahamian itinerary aboard the
Disney Dream. While the schedule hasn't yet been released, it's likely that you'll experience two themed evenings onboard: Pirate Night and an Optional Dress-Up Evening.
Pirate Night is a Disney Cruise Line fan-favorite, and for good reason. The fun begins at midday with character meet-and-greets, trivia, crafts, and games. At dinner, expect a menu fit for hungry buccaneers. In the evening, a deck party with music, dancing, and fireworks marks the celebration. You'll find plenty of guests dressing up for the occasion, so consider planning a costume if you'd like to join the pirate crew. I've had good luck finding post-Halloween sales on pirate costumes to purchase for future Disney Cruises.
The Optional Dress-Up Evening onboard is a great opportunity to wear formal clothing and take
photos around the ship. As you might guess from the title, dressing up is optional! Cruise casual clothing is welcome aboard the ship every evening in the main dining restaurants. If you plan to dine at the adult-exclusive
Palo or
Remy during your cruise, you'll want to plan a more upscale outfit to match the elegant dining atmosphere. I always recommend brunch at Palo if it fits into your plans.
Kimberlee, if you have additional questions, please return to planDisney to ask. My pals and I will be here to help you!
Happy Planning,
Adrianna
