Hi Diane!
How exciting that you'll be sailing in a few days! I'm so happy you will be heading to The Bahamas with not one but two stops at
Castaway Cay. Sounds like pure bliss to me!
Dinners during your rotational dining will be as varied as your dining rooms. The menus are customized to each restaurant, but there aren’t any themed dinners right now. You can still expect a great “dinner and a show” feel from
Animator’s Palate as the walls come to life with animation and color. I’ve heard that sometimes the characters parade through
Enchanted Garden, which creates a great atmosphere for Guests. And the
Royal Palace menu is too good to even set aside with entrees like angus grilled beef tenderloin, lobster medallions, and Dijon-crusted rack of lamb.
My pals at Disney Cruise Line tell me that they do not have any Pirate Nights planned for the 3-night voyages. I’ve heard that the 4-night cruises have some pirate themed activities and a pirate menu, but it’s nothing like the Pirate Night of previous years. Captain Mickey is introducing new entertainment like a fireworks show called “Disney Ever After” and foregoing the deck parties for now. So I suggest that you go into your cruise embracing the new experiences. I would also pay close attention to the
Experience Updates page; the “On the Ship” tab details what you can expect during your cruise.
What I’ve heard is that there are even more character appearances onboard than ever before! This is especially exciting for me because I really love getting to see my favorites as well as a few characters that you don’t ordinarily see. And what’s better than getting to see them at SEA?
Guess that only leaves one thing...you better get packed because you set sail in 2 days! Diane, have a fantastic time and please tell Captain Mickey hi for me!
Bon Voyage!
Sherry
