Welcome back to planDisney, David. It looks like you’re getting ready to embark on a 7-Night
Alaskan Cruise this September, so allow me to help you discover all the themed nights you can expect on your sailing.
To kick things off on Night 2 (after your first full day at sea), your family will want to dress like royalty because it’s Formal Night in the dining room. I can’t tell you what restaurant you’ll be dining at, but if you download the free
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app and connect to the DCL-GUEST WiFi on the ship, you’ll have access to the full schedule in the palm of your hand (including dining rotations).
The next night is a cruise casual night, but you’ll want to head up to the deck after your Nordic-inspired dinner for the
Frozen Deck Party. You’ll get to sing all of your favorite Frozen songs along with Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff (and keep your eyes peeled for a virtual visit from your favorite snowman). If you have little princesses sailing with you, consider packing a costume and cape for them to practice twirling in while conjuring up personal flurries for Olaf.
Finally, on Night 6 after your day in
Ketchikan, the evening’s dinner theme is Semi-Formal. Of course, what you wear during your tenure at sea is completely up to you. You’ll find some of your fellow guests dressing up every chance they get, while others may stay casual throughout the voyage.
If you like warm hugs and watching the ocean waves pass you by, you’re sure to have an incredible adventure at sea. If you come up with more questions or think of any other way we can assist you here at
planDisney, I hope you’ll visit us again real soon!
Seas the day,
Sami
