Theme and pool wise, which of the Port Orleans resorts is best for young children? As well, do either have queen beds?

Your family is going to love Port Orleans Resort!

Riverside has a sprawling pool complex on Ol' Man Island, fishing, and horse drawn carriage rides. The feel for this resort is Southern rustic charm. In March Port Orleans Resort- Riverside will open its princess themed rooms complete with beds that have to the ceiling headboards with fiber optic fireworks that light up. These Royal Guest Rooms rooms were designed for Princess Tiana's princess friends to stay in when they come visit and are a delight. Riverside does not seem to offer queen size beds but has king and double size ones available.
The French Quarter has a more elegant, formal feel. The Doubloon Lagoon is one of my favorite pools in Walt Disney World with its beautiful blue sea serpent water slide. The horse drawn carriage rides and fishing are a short walk away in Riverside and you may pool hop to the Ol' Man Island pool complex. Queen size beds as well as double and king are available here.

Your decision is a fun, win- win task because you will be happy with either choice.
