I want to do 3 theme parks and water park add-on to go to the water park the first day and then 3 theme parks the following days. My travel agent said we had to buy the 4 day package and water park addon to be able to do that which doesn't sound right.

    Hello Melissa!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney and asking a great question! It sounds like you are planning some exciting days at Walt Disney World in the theme parks and water parks!

If you purchase the Water Park and Sports Option on your Walt Disney World tickets, you can have a certain number of visits to a Water Park or other Walt Disney World fun. At Walt Disney World, a water park is not considered a theme park but an extra option that can be used on a separate day or the same day as a visit to a theme park. For example, a three-day ticket will entitle you to three theme park days and three options, such as a water park. So you can choose to use an option to enjoy a water park for an entire day without using one of your theme park tickets, or you can go to a water park and a theme park on the same day. I recommend using your water park option on a separate day from your theme park visit to maximize your time in the theme parks. So in your case, you could buy a three-day Walt Disney World ticket and add the Water Park and Sports Option to the three days (you have to add an option to all the days of your tickets). A three-day ticket with the Water Park and Sports Options gives you six days to use the theme park tickets and options before they expire.

I hope that your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation is incredible!
