Do theme parks parking lots at WDW consider park opening hours to schedule their opening time accordingly or before park opening time?

    Bonjour Arnaldo,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question, my fellow traveller from La Belle Province!

We typically rent a car when we visit Walt Disney World Resort. Based on my experience, the parking lots at most Theme Parks open at least an hour (and sometimes even 90 minutes) before the Park is scheduled to open that day, including an hour before any Extra Magic Hours or other Special Events are scheduled to start that morning. They also stay open up to an hour after the Theme Park has closed for the day.

So, to answer your question, the Theme Parks’ respective parking lots absolutely vary their hours based on the day’s Park Hours. If you want to get an early start, you should absolutely be able to arrive at least an hour before the Park opens in order to get a good parking spot.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. Et n’oubliez pas que vous pouvez également me poser des questions en français!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne

Hi, I’m Lynne from Montreal, Quebec, Canada! I’m a working mom who enjoys snuggles with my son and my husband, who has been my sweetheart since 1997. We’ve been lucky enough to experience several milestones in Walt Disney World, including our wedding and honeymoon in 2009. As Disney Vacation Club members, we often plan trips for large, and sometimes even multi-generational, groups to come and enjoy the fun with us. Learn More About Lynne
