Hi Charlotte,
Welcome to planDisney!
There are different types of
tickets for admission to the Walt Disney World Theme Parks! First there are “Ages 10+” tickets as you mentioned, these are the tickets for guest 10 years old and up. The tickets listed for “Ages 3 – 9” are for guests of those ages. Children under the age of three do not need Theme Park tickets.
Guests can choose from 1 Park Per Day tickets, Park Hopper Option tickets, Water Park and Sports Option tickets, and the Park Hopper Plus tickets during their vacation. Each of these tickets are unique in their offerings and vary in price. The ticket prices may also fluctuate depending on when you’re traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort. For example, the same type of ticket may be a different price in May than it will be in October.
I recommend spending some time toggling between the different options for the tickets to see what may be best for you and your party. To do this, just head to the
Walt Disney World admissions portion of the website and press “Continue”. On the following page, you’ll be able to select the number of days, ticket type, and time of year. Once those three items are selected, you can see the tickets separated by age group, “Ages 10+” and “Ages 3-9”.
Once you book your tickets, you’ll want to make your
Disney Park Pass reservations. These reservations, in addition to your tickets, are needed to enter the Theme Parks. If you’re coming to the Walt Disney World Resort soon, I suggest going ahead and purchasing your tickets so you can make these reservations because they can book up really quickly. If you're trying to see what Theme Parks are available to guests on specific days, make sure to check out the
Theme Park Reservation Calendar!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is useful as you plan your future vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any other vacation questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
