Hi Christine. Thanks so much for sharing all of your questions with the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It's so nice to "see" you again.
This is a great question. There are a variety of
ticket options at Walt Disney World Resort. A standard 1-day or multi-day pass does not grant access to the water parks. However, you can add a Park Hopper Plus option. With Park Hopper Plus, you not only have admission to all 4 theme parks, but it also includes admission to both water parks as well as other fun activities including miniature golf and
ESPN Wide World of Sports. You can also purchase single day
Water Park Tickets or a
Water Parks Annual Pass.
We just started visiting the water parks a couple of years ago and they quickly became a must do part of our planning. Teamboat Springs at
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park is a family favorite as is Crush 'n' Gusher at
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.
My tip for visiting the water parks is to arrive at park opening. You will be able to enjoy countless attractions 1st thing with shorter wait times. When we arrive at park opening, we can typically experience all we want to by early afternoon. We then make our way to a theme park in the evening after resting a bit in our Resort hotel room.
Thanks again for your questions Christine. Please let us know if you need any other information as you plan your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
