Have theme park room at Polynesian. Which is the best building to stay in for the theme park room, best view of the castle? How do you get from the Polynesian to the Broardwalk? Can you take a direct bus from the Poly? Thank You!

Hello Susan.  Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is by far my favorite place to stay.

Over Christmas last year, we stayed in the Tuvalu Longhouse (building) and we had an amazing view of Cinderella Castle.  It was really, really breathtaking.  Now, anytime I stay at the Polynesian, that's the building I request.

To get to the BoardWalk you'll have to do a little transportation switching but it's actually pretty easy to get there.  What I would do is take the monorail from Disney's Polynesian Village Resort to the Magic Kingdom.  Once there, head down toward the bus stop area.  I would hop on the bus going to Disney's BoardWalk Inn.  Once you get to that resort, just walk through the lobby and out the back doors and you will be right smack dab in the middle of the BoardWalk.

I hope this helps.  If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask.  Happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
