Hi Victoria!
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for sending your Disneyland Resort vacation planning question to us hEAR!
Oh wow, it sounds like you have quite the Disney adventure planned with your crew! I think y'all are going to love
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa as much as I do. The hotel is beautiful inside and out, and the pool is
the place to be on a sunny
Southern California day. But the
best part of staying so close to the magic at The Grand has to be the direct entrance into
Disney California Adventure Park as well as the side entrance to the
Downtown Disney District.
This is a tricky one. If you or your group has purchased five tickets and then booked two rooms in three or more separate transactions (two different purchases for the hotel rooms, and a third or even a fourth transaction for the tickets, etc), then you might be able to load all five of the
Theme Park Admission Tickets into one
My Disneyland Account; if so, then one person should be able to make the
Park Pass Reservations for everyone under one account.
However, if your two rooms each purchased a
Disneyland Resort Vacation Package, which combines a play and a stay in one convenient place, or if y'all have already assigned the Theme Park Admission Tickets to the respective guests in each
Disneyland Resort Hotel guest room, you'll most likely need to make your Park Pass Reservations separately. If this is the case, the reservation owner of each room will log into their My Disneyland Account and make the
Park Pass Reservations for those in their room.
Pro Tip: If no one in the other room has a My Disneyland Account, you can create one for them that you also control. (I had to do this with my parents.) You'll set up the account under one of their names and address, but use an email address that you have the power to check so you'll be notified if anything else should come up. If going this route, use your spouse's or a sibling's email address as your email/My Disneyland Account can only be accessed by one
Disneyland Mobile App at a time. With two separate email addresses, you can have room 1 and room 2 both logged into two different phones; You, Victoria, will still be able to make
Disney Dining and
Lightning Lane Reservations for everyone, but your group will have an easier time physically separating if you have two different logins.
I hope this helped to clEAR things up, Victoria! Be sure to follow the
