Hello Lily!
Welcome to planDisney! Oh, Lily, your upcoming trip is during a very magical time at Walt Disney World Resort!
Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort are full of sparkle, merriment, and of course, magic.
All date-based
theme park tickets do not require
theme park reservations. Visit the Park you wish to see and don't worry about changing your mind last minute. Just remember, that once you select your Park for the day then you are committed to that Park as you do not have the
Park Hopper Option for your ticket. That can always be added on later if you like for the entirety of your trip. Head to the ticket booths at the front of each Park or visit
Guest Relations to get that sorted if you like.
As for
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, these tickets are already date-specific as you had to pick your party night when purchasing it. You will have to enjoy the party on the night you selected and can't pick another. Guests who have a party ticket can enter Magic Kingdom Park at 4 pm which is three hours before the Party starts at 7 pm. You can enjoy quite a few attractions, have a nice meal, take photos, and then get to partying at 7 pm. On party days I like to visit a Park in the morning and be finished by noon so that I can take a nap at the Resort and get food in everyone's stomachs. I then spend my time at the party just snacking. There are plenty of complimentary cookies to enjoy and I do not want to miss out.
You may overlap your trip with Thanksgiving Day so I hope you
book a lovely holiday meal at the 60-day mark. I highly suggest securing a reservation at
Liberty Tree Tavern as it is a year-round delicious meal with roasted turkey, pot roast, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and the delicious
Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake. I still dream about this cake and I want to make sure you leave room for it.
I hope this helps and you have a fabulous time!
Happy Planning!
