How do you make theme park reservations?

Hello, John. I'm so happy you've stopped by planDisney to ask about making Park Pass Reservations. It's such an important part of planning a Walt Disney World vacation right now and I am happy to help!

First and foremost, John, I highly suggest checking out the theme park availability calendar for the dates you'd like to travel to Walt Disney World. The calendar is broken down into three categories - Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, Guests with theme park tickets only and Annual Passholders. You'll want to make sure that you are viewing the calendar that pertains to you as there are different capacity limitations for each calendar. If there is park pass availability for the dates you'd like to visit the next step is to purchase Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets. Currently, you can choose from two different ticket options. The first is a standard theme park ticket that allows you to enter one of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks each day or you can choose an upgraded ticket to include park hopping which allows you to visit multiple Walt Disney World Theme Parks each day. The choice is yours! Once you have tickets, you'll need to link those to your MyDisneyExperience account. It's easy to set one up using an email address if you don't already have one. Once your tickets are linked you can go ahead and begin the process of making park pass reservations by visiting the website (linked for you). Select the button "Make A Park Reservation." Then you'll need to log into your MyDisneyExperience account. Once logged in, you'll be able to select the party you wish to make a park pass reservation for and hit "Continue". Next, you'll select the first calendar date you'd like to make a park pass reservation for, you can only do one day at a time. Once you've selected the date you'll see the available parks pop up underneath the calendar. Pick the park you'd like to visit and then you'll be redirected to a confirmation page with an option to make more park pass reservations for a different day.

I hope this helps you make your park pass reservations, John. I know it may seem like a lot of steps but the process is very automated and will walk you through the whole process. Once you've done it for one day, the rest of your trip will be a breeze. If you have any other questions before your trip, I'd love to help you out

    Have fun!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
