Hi Christopher, welcome to planDisney!
You couldn't have planned a better time to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth. Walt Disney World Resort is currently celebrating its 50th Anniversary. Party favors include two new nighttime spectaculars:
Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom park and
Harmonious at EPCOT.
Currently, both valid admission
and theme park reservations made via the Disney Park Pass system are required for theme park reservations. Before making a theme park reservation, make sure your tickets are
linked in
My Disney Experience. If this was done correctly, your tickets are visible by scrolling down on the My Plans page of your My Disney Experience account and clicking the "Tickets and Memory Maker" tab next to "Daily Itinerary." All good? Let's proceed to theme park reservations.
Before you make your theme park reservations, you must check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar. At this exact moment, all
four theme parks show availability May 12-24, while only Magic Kingdom and Disney's Animal Kingdom show availability on your arrival date. Once you've confirmed theme park availability, head straight to the
Disney Park Pass reservation page. Click your ticket type (theme park tickets or annual pass), select the members of your
Family and Friends list for whom you are making a reservation, select a date and a park, click that you have read the terms and conditions, and finally "Confirm." A confirmation page will appear, though this type of reservation does not come with a confirmation number or email confirmation. You can, however, confirm that your reservation was made at any time by viewing it under the "Daily Itinerary" tab of your My Plans page. The words "Disney Park Pass" are listed along with the name and image of the park's theme park icon. A separate theme park reservation must be made for each person for each park day.
I recommend making your theme park reservations as soon as possible, Christopher, as theme park reservations continue to fill up for May dates. Please return to planDisney if you'd like any tips or tricks for how to spend your magical park days.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
