How do I make a theme park reservation

Hey there, Carlo! Welcome to planDisney. I'm so glad you've dropped by to ask your question here.

I'm glad to see that you are wanting to make park pass reservations, Carlo. You won't be able to visit the Walt Disney World Theme Parks without them. The first step is to purchase your Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets and link them to your MyDisneyExperience account. Then, you'll want to head over to the park pass reservation website. Once there, you'll select the option to "Make A Park Reservation". From there you'll be prompted to select your travel party, pick a date on the calendar you want to go and then a theme park. If there is availability you'll be taken to a confirmation page with the option to make park pass reservations for another day. You'll want to follow the steps for each day you have a theme park ticket for. Once you are finished, you should be able to see your park pass reservations on the daily itinerary section of your MyDisneyExperience account.

If you've purchased park hopper tickets, where you can visit multiple Walt Disney World Theme Parks in one day, you'll still need to make park pass reservations. You only need to make them for the initial theme park you'll be visiting each day. Park hopping hours now start at 2:00 p.m. To park hop, you must enter the theme park with the park pass reservation first. This sort of activates your park hopper feature each day. After that, you are free to venture out to any or all of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks you'd like.

I hope this helps, Carlo. If you have any trouble securing your passes or have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask me

    Have a great day!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
