Does each theme park have its own parking lot, or is there one central area and then you take Disney transportation to the park?

    Hi Erin,

All of the Theme Parks do have their own parking lots and all of them apart from one gives instant access to the Park itself after you park your car by either a short walk or a tram ride from where you have parked your car to the entrance of the Park.  The exception here would be Magic Kingdom where you will park your car and need to take additional transportation to get you to the entrance of the park.  The parking lot for Magic Kingdom is actually located by the Ticket and Transportation Center, so you will park your car, walk or take a tram to the Ticket and Transportation Center (very short ride) and from there you can choose a few various options to get you to the entrance of Magic Kingdom.  There is a ferryboat you could take which is very nice, but if you are in a hurry to get there I would suggest your second option which would be the monorail (just 3 stops from the TTC and you are there, this is my favorite choice....absolutely love riding the monorails!).  Hope this helps.

    Best wishes,
