What are the theme nights for the Disney Treasure eastern Caribbean cruise departing on March 14, 2026? Are there formal nights as well?

Hi there, Vijal! Welcome to planDisney!

I’d love to help shed some light on the themed nights during your Disney Treasure sailing! As it happens, I just debarked the Disney Treasure two weeks ago and sailed this exact Eastern Caribbean itinerary!

Since you’re sailing on a 7-night cruise, there is a formal night. Please note that themed evenings are always “dress-up optional,” and it’s definitely not a requirement to dress up. You can genuinely wear whatever you like and be as dressy or as casual as you prefer.

That being said, I've personally found that when on board a cruise ship, especially during a Sea Day, dressing up from swimwear during the day to a fancier outfit in the evening, really makes me feel like I “went” somewhere, even though I’m technically walking the same halls I did just a few hours earlier! Also, if you want to dress up, there are photo backdrops that usually match the dress-up theme of the evening, and even beloved Disney Characters who dress up too!

While every sailing can be different, the themed nights tend to hold a pattern for types of sailings. I’ll share the themed nights I experienced on my 7-Night Eastern Caribbean cruise aboard the Disney Treasure so that you have an idea of what you might expect.

    • Night 1: Cruise Casual. Dress up in cruise or Disney casual attire
    • Night 2: Formal Night. Dress tends to be fancier. You might find guests wearing gowns, suits, ties, dresses, etc.
    • Night 3: Cruise Casual. Dress up in cruise or Disney casual attire.
    • Night 4: Pirate Night. Pull out your best swashbuckling attire!
    • Night 5: Cruise Casual. Dress up in cruise or Disney casual attire.
    • Night 6: Semi-Formal. Less fancy than Formal Night, but think cocktail dresses, pantsuits, button-down shirt without the jacket, etc.
    • Night 7: Cruise Casual. Dress in either cruise or Disney casual attire.

The best way to see what the theme of the evening is going to be is on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. Next to each day’s description, it will also have the suggested attire for the evening. This is also where you will find your Rotational Dining schedule, restaurant location, and menu.

I have one more suggestion, and that’s if you’re going to plan all the cute and coordinating themed outfits, to purchase the Unlimited Digital Photo Package ahead of your cruise. The photo backdrops around the ship are phenomenal, change nightly to match the theme, and you’re really going to want them all! Lastly, make sure to stop by the Haunted Mansion Parlor on board. It’s SO COOL to see! There’s also a fun photo session that takes place on board here, so if you have any cool Haunted Mansion outfits, you’re going to want to bring them with you!

Vijal, I hope this helped keep you chic and coordinated during your upcoming cruise. I wish you many beautiful memories that you will Treasure always. Please sail back to planDisney if you have any more questions.
